Time Heals?

Time heals.
He’s in a better place.
He’s still with you.
You need to go back to work. You need to write about it. You need to get out and walk every day. You should go to therapy, go shopping, go to church. These things will make you feel better.
Time heals. Once you get though a year of “firsts” it’ll all be easier. Are you writing about this, because it’ll make this easier. You’ll see, time will pass. You will not miss him anymore. You’ll see.
Six and 1/2 years have passed.
Happy Father’s Day, Daddy.
I’m writing about it.
Time Heals.
Memories don’t fade.

Oh Deb you made me cry. I lost my Dad 6 years ago too. Every Fathers day is the hardest. They say time will ease the pain, it never does. I miss my daddy. The talks we had were incredible and just to hear his voice again would be great. I have my sister here for a couple weeks and she is only 15. I see dad in her face every second and it gives me comfort. Thank you for posting this it is exactly how I feel. Have a happy time this Fathers day and enjoy the happy memories as we will for our dad.
