PR~YES!

With some  caveats, I welcome pitches from PR people or anyone wanting to promote their website, product or service.  Advertising Space is available under certain restrictions. Contact me for more info.

My caveats are:

1. Please make sure that the information is family friendly or at least relates somehow to our audience. Read the blog - is there a good chance we might publish it?

2. Keep it brief please, in the first instance. I can always ask for more info.

3. Don’t use the comments section on this blog to blatantly promote your or your client’s products. It REALLY ticks me off.  Your comments will be removed and we will not answer your query. You have been warned.

While I welcome pitches from PR people, or anyone wanting to promote their website, product or service, please make sure that the information or product is family friendly. Press releases are more than welcome. Understand that I will not post about any products that I/we have not personally tested.

Review Policy

If you are a PR rep for products that you think our readers should know about, someone who makes products that are simply awesome, or an indie designer looking to get the word out about your amazing product, we would love to hear from you!

We are more than happy to post product reviews and/or reader giveaways. Our readers appreciate our recommendations and are thrilled when we tell them about a wonderful product!

So, Give Me The Poop

How?

Send me an email at  describing the product you would like to submit for a giveaway or review, include a link to your website, and please specify to which age group the item best appeals.  We also do require a sample for all reviews. The sample will not be returned, and you will be responsible for any shipping costs involved. We will contact you within 72 hours with an address to send samples and/or reader prizes.

I will then send you 2 emails:

1. A confirmation we received your product
2. An email linking to our product reviews, or alerting you of our decision not to post

Please note: Decisions to post are based on the quality of your product, thus the review of some products may not be posted because they simply do not resonate with our bloggers or work for our family. We are always candid in the reviews we post, and while we aim not to openly criticize or bash any products, we do  sometimes.  Just as we praise others. (I will not simply say your product is great, if it isn’t.) Our idea is to provide fair and balanced, thoughtful reviews.  At this time we have no charge for reviewing products or websites, however this policy is always open to change.

Though we are open to most anything, we especially love companies, products, and services that appeal to family life and are non-toxic, safe, and fun.

Here at Bird On A Wire, I have children in the following age groups:

1 baby boy and baby girl, under 1 year

3 boys and 1 girl, between 2 years and 6 years

3 girl, between ages 7 and 12 years
