We've had an eventful few days recently, culminating with our arrival in Atlanta, home to Delta Airlines, CNN, TNN, The Atlanta Braves, Buckhead, Coca Cola, and all that is right and good in the South. We're here interim, while ehubby meets with his prospective employer. So, for a couple of days, I'm camped out in an awsome hotel suite, while he endures hours of grilling, ummm I mean, meaningful discussion about his new role with the company.

I spent a few hours in the wee small hours of the morning (time change always messes with me) catching up on some of my favorite reads. Mommie Pie, lucky doog, is enjoying time in Hawaii, with friends. While she's gone, she's sending back twitters, pics and has some very very funny ladies guest posting for her. Get over there now, and see if you can figure out just how native she's gone!

Aud's, has been spending quality time with her folks, from California. While she was gone, she asked me (wow, I'm totally honored) to fill in for her in a guest post. Some other great bloggers have contributed as well while Aud's was vacationing, Laurie at Foolery (she's honestly one of the funniest ladies on the planet), Bejewell from The Bean (famous for the "F" bomb, will make you laugh til your sides hurt) and McMommy (totally honest, unassuming and funny)--Do you sense a theme here, that maybe I missed?

Tricia from Confessions of A CF Husband, who has undergone some remarkable life changes in the recent months is doing much better, according to hubby, Nate. This family is truly testament to how powerful and awesome our God is ! Beautiful little Gywneth Rose, is growing well and this amazing little girl is really coming into her own.  Daddy Nate is going bald this week...

In support of my wife, Tricia, and in honor of both my brother-in-law, Jeff Prentice, I'm challenging my family, friends and blog readers to help me raise no less than $3000 in 1 week for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).

If I can raise $3000 by noon next Friday (August 8, 2008), I will shave my head, live on the internet at 8pm that night (all times are EST).
