Help Me Get My MoJo Back

Yesterday, I wrestled with the idea of posting on a subject that is part of my core.  I twittered and phoned and emailed and wrestled with it more. I wrote, saved and left over night a post that today, I wonder if I will ever publish.

This blog was never intended as a political outlet. Nor were my personal beliefs, morals, ethics or religion intended to be spouted like Vatican Encyclicals. So, I stressed on this article. Seriously.

Today, I’m wrestling with myself, my lack of audacity, my lack of transparency. What do you think? Do you want to know what I believe in? Are you in the least interested in my political theory?  I’m not a pundit, just a mom, a wife, a woman.

Find out what I am doing right now by following me on Twitter! If you like this post then please consider subscribing to my full feed RSS. You can also subscribe by Email and have new posts sent directly to your inbox.

Oiy! Sorry for two comments but it ate part of my other one.

Your blog is just that, YOUR place in the world to talk about whatever you want.

I personally, would love to read more about your political leanings. However, I understand why you hesitate. I refuse to “go there” on my blog just for the simple fact that I was raised to believe that you don’t talk openly about the money you make or your politics. It’s ingrained deep within my core and I don’t know that I’ll ever change. As a result, I’m sure a lot of assumptions are made about both my financial and political status.

It’s your decision in the end. But don’t let anyone make you feel bad for either expressing it, or choosing not to.

I do! I’ll start: I wanted Hillary, and she was the first candidate I ever felt strongly enough to support publicly… Now I feel like I am being forced to choose Obama, nice enough guy, but not my personal choice…

Lay it on me. I like reading other people’s perspective. It gives me food for thought and I can definitely use some as I just keep getting more confused.

One thing that I admire about you and your blog is that you always keep it real. I think you should go and put it all out there. Of course not everybody is going to think your way, and I am sure you already realize that, but at the same time hearing another persons opinion can help us think more closely about our beliefs. I look forward to hearing your opinions!!
